I am new
I have a 52 inch lcd 1080p samsung well it seems like when the people are talking when im watching a blu ray they sound like there whispering..so i turn the volume up...but anytime someone yells or a explosion its SUPER loud!! Is there anyway to balance this out? Thanks i have the srs trusurround xt on...and its in custom |

You didn't mention your audio setup, which is important for this question.
If you're listening to the TV speakers, then check the Blu-Ray player to see if it's surround settings are on. If both are on, then the two surround systems are colliding, in essence. Two channel surround works by mixing the sound from one to the other. If you do that twice, you can end up creating a canceling effect. If you have a full 5.1 or 7.1 surround system (which if not, you should get given your TV and Blu) then you should turn off all the surround settings on your TV and Blu-Ray, since the source material is already surround-encoded. |
