Selling my front speakers :(

A friend made me an offer I couldn't refuse...... I've been very happy with the performance of my speakers, purchased maybe 7 months ago (the fronts at least) but because of the prices going up, and me getting a sizeable discount on the pair to begin with, a friend of mine made me an offer for basically what I paid for them, so my plan is to move my rears back up to the front, and use a pair of speakers I had purchased 8 or 9 months ago (currently not in use) as my new rears.......

My current rears were "more than I needed" so I had a little bit of buyer's remorse when I purchased new fronts, only to delagate the former fronts to surrounds...... Now I know my system won't be as grandios as it once was, but the $2,500 he's giving me is going to buy me a new gas-range.... so It all works out in the end..... besides... I don't have to feel so bad about having a nice pair of speakers I wasn't using, and now use them as surrounds. I had thoughts of using them for a 2 channel set-up, but the cost to go into separates, and the whole "shebang" was one I wasn't looking forward to.....


So, in a few days, it'll be time to send my babies to their new home...... sad, but necessary really.....
