Sony Pictures Home Entertainment have announced 14 titles for October release that includes Casino Royale - Deluxe Edition. The act of short span double dipping on Blu-ray by Studios should be banned with immediate effect.

Well, Sony had announced a new 3 disc SD DVD edition that was supposed to come this past June, but quietly put it on hold, most likely to release it in time for the Quantum of Solace release in early November. The big question then was whether or not a new edition would make it's way to Blu-ray. Thankfully, it seems that it will be. Trust me when I say that it'll come here in North America in October, probably on the 21st, which is when Fox/ MGM releases the first wave of "classic Bond" on blu-ray. Can't wait for this, I got the DVD when it came out, now I can't wait for the blu-ray but have been holding off, glad to see it'll pull.

Plus, not Casino Royale related, but in the same article it mentions the Ghostbusters films, which I can't wait for either.

I guess I'll wait and see what that has to offer before I buy the movie. I dont read German. What does it say about Ghostbusters 1 and 2?

They are being released in Germany (and France and USA) on or around Oct 23. You can preorder from Amazon.de
