Default Anyone on here ever buy that PS3 Blu tooth to IR adapter? (for universal remotes)

So, i was looking around at IR2BT.com and saw they are still selling out, just curious if anyone on here bought one, and if so has any feedback

seems like this is just a couple guys who figured out how to make this device, order parts from asia and assemble them themselves. so im worried about sending them my credit card #

x 2 - I am a big fan of the Nyko; it works great with my Harmony 880. Not being able to power off is a very minor issue since I have to physically remove the disk after ejecting anyway.

i would get the nyko, but its not worth 1$ to me. the whole point of the harmony is so i can turn on my tv, 5.1, and blu ray player(ps3) from back on my couch with one button on one remote.

Why's that? Because it doesn't turn the PS3 on/off? Do you leave your discs in the PS3 after watching?

I signed up with IR2BT to be notified when they are available, but I've been anxiously seeking feedback from anyone who has tried it. Haven't found anything yet, and apparently they are still unavailable.

I signed up awhile but haven't received an update email form them. I think after the lastest update it screwed with the on/off function. Not positive though.

Their webpage says they accept paypal... no need to share your credit card info. The cost of product would be all that's at risk (doesn't paypal have a dispute resolution center if something like that were to occur?)

With so many PS3's being sold for blu ray watching, I wonder if Harmony is working on some kind of dual IR and bluetooth all-in one remote?? Now that would solve everything. I wonder if this is even possible.

yes i do, dont see why that matters. The idea of a harmony remote is to do everything with one remote, and one button. This Nyko thing complete contradicts the purpose of a harmony remote.

i'll spend the 55$ for the real thing

I'm not questioning your wanting the IR2BT, I think it's a great product idea. Just curious as to why the on/off thing is a big deal. I pull all of my discs out after watching so shutting down the PS3 while standing there is not big deal to me. Everyone is different...as I said, I was just curious
