Default Smaller Titles on Blu??

I don't mean older movies, but movies that have come out this year. Titles like:

Son of Rambow(Paramount)
Pathology(MGM)
Chaos Theory(WB)
Stop-Loss(Paramount)
Under The Same Moon(Fox)
Funny Games(WB)
City of Men
Charlie Bartlett(MGM)
Miss Pettigrew(Universal)
Lars and the Real Girl(Fox)

It would seem the most opportune time to make money off of these titles would be to release them day and date with the DVD, but the studios aren't doing it.

So my question is how long do you guys think it will be before we see titles like these on Blu-ray....will it take a major increase in BD sales before we see them??

Default Son of Rambow

I loved, Son of Rambow when I saw it. I did get a little sad when I saw it wasn't comming out on BD any time soon. I just got my player (PS3) about a mont ago. I don't really want to Double Dip too much, but I also was hopeing that all of my new Movie buys were BD. Oh well, I hope Son of Rambow is the las DVD i need to get!

They were about to release them but you maxed out your question mark quota in the subject line so now they are going on hold until at least next year.
We all hate you now for doing that to us.

I'd get those on Blu-Ray. Chaos Theory just kind of went bye-bye for some reason and never got a wide release but it's been announced for DVD already by WB. I didn't even think it was an independent film or anything.

Yes, sales of Blu players/movies must keep growing before you see many of the little known titles.

I'm anticipating the day that every movie which comes out on DVD comes out on Blu-ray....especially since i refuse to buy DVDs anymore.

Some small titles are available(Sex and Death 101, Sleepwalking, The Band's Visit) but it seems not all studios are on board at this point.
