Default Smaller LCD's?

Okay I'am looking for a smaller LCD HD TV for my Kentucky Wildcat party room and don't know what to buy?? I will eventually get a PS3 next summer as well for the TV so should I still get 1080P? Should I get 26in thats more costly or a cheaper 32in?

If you can find a 26inch 1080p let me know. You will send approximately $800 to $1000 for a 1080p 32 inch. If you can really about enjoy Sony 10inch OLED that may work for you....

1080P will not make a bit of difference in anything that small.

You would be fine with a 720p 32" TV, Try the samsung 32" ln32A450 $577 @ amazon or a sharp 32" 720P $547 @ BB Toshiba 32AV502U 32-Inch 720p $520 @ Amazon

Yes, I would not go any smaller than 32" and 720p in this size would do fine. I would say go with Sony, Samsung or Sharp...in that order

You're right. $500 - $550. Depending on where you look and what sales are going on. I've been pricing one out for a new bedroom TV but $500 IMO is absurd for a 26" TV with the way the economy is now.

I dunno...32 inchers are the smallest I've seen. Right now I've got my ps3 hooked to a sony Bravia 32" 720P/1080i and it looks fantastic. But only because I connected them with an HDMI cable does it go to the max picture quality.

If you wait until after new-year or next christmas, expect prices to go waaaay down. Example: My Sony Bravia 32" 720P= $1,200.00 + HDMI= $50.00 And now $800.00 + $25.00 !!!! for same stuff!!

By way most ps3 games end with 720P (though ps3 will upscale to 1080i quality) and only a few support 1080P. Though for a couple hundred more, it may be more bang for your buck. I only buy sony when it comes to my home entertainment devices (exception of speakers) and so I suggest buying plasma over LCD.

I made mistake of buying LCD, and its only drawback is lessened image quality and contrast in bright rooms. WIth plasma the contrast is higher and the colors are richer and darker, but that may cost you more than an LCD. And that is true, the smaller you go (up to 32") it won't have any visual difference (720P & 1080P).

First off, there aren't any plasma tv's in the 32" range.

Secondly, Darth Revan, do you know if there is a KOTOR 3 coming out at all??? I know rumors were flying a few months ago, but I haven't even tried to keep up.

There is too such a thing as a 32" plasma. I happen to own one. It is a Vizio 32" Plasma. The only problem is some minor burn-in issues but I am reaching the 200 hour mark and they are less noticeable and the image cleaner in the tv menu works phenominally. Picture Quality (once calibrated) looks great.

Well thanks for bringing it to everyones attention... as the vizio website says, the first 32" hd plasma.... I wouldn't have known this since I haven't visited the vizio website in FOREVER. Congratulations, you now own the smallest and IMO worst tv ever made, I mean no offense. I have seen a vizio plasma on many instances at my sister in-laws, and it is the worst TV I have ever seen, even compared to my vizio LCD's.... Although my father-in-law just got a new vizio lcd and it actually looks pretty good, so maybe the newer plasma's have evolved as well. I hope is a good tv for you.
