LCD's with NO Speakers - Blu-ray Forum

Does any one know of any 40 or 42 inch LCD panels that do not have speakers, or the speaker can be detached?

Most HDTVs allow you to turn the speakers off completely...

you can do it with the vizio's... some models anyways, I don't know about the newer ones though. Samsungs have the speakers at the bottom of the TV so they are hidden...

Samsung 850 has speakers that are in the back so it appears not to have any speakers.

it isnt an lcd, but the pioneer plasmas have detachable speakers on their 50-60inchers.

Sharp SE series has removable speakers, they are quite a nice TV too!!!

I believe the newer Sony XBR's have removable speakers as well.

Yes I know i have a 50 inch Kuro. It is going in my bedroom and I can not go larger than 42.
