There is too such a thing as a 32" plasma. I happen to own one. It is a Vizio 32" Plasma. The only problem is some minor burn-in issues but I am reaching the 200 hour mark and they are less noticeable and the image cleaner in the tv menu works phenominally. Picture Quality (once calibrated) looks great.

Definitely not worth going for a 1080 that small.

Well thanks for bringing it to everyones attention... as the vizio website says, the first 32" hd plasma.... I wouldn't have known this since I haven't visited the vizio website in FOREVER. Congratulations, you now own the smallest and IMO worst tv ever made, I mean no offense. I have seen a vizio plasma on many instances at my sister in-laws, and it is the worst TV I have ever seen, even compared to my vizio LCD's.... Although my father-in-law just got a new vizio lcd and it actually looks pretty good, so maybe the newer plasma's have evolved as well. I hope is a good tv for you.
