Hey everyone, I've been waiting to get into the HD Audio craze and I have finally reached that point. I just ordered an Onkyo TX-SR606 from Amazon, along with the Boston Acoustics HPS-10HO 250 Watt RMS Subwoofer. Does anyone know how this will sound?
Right now all I have is a 1996 Bose 5.1 Sound System that can't even do DTS or Dolby Digital since back then they had a "custom decoder" which was "superior" (They were just too cheap to pay for the rights back then to utilize DTS). Anyways with my new setup, I'll still be keeping the cube speakers since they still sound good, I will probably replace the center channel soon with a large center channel, but until then it's the 5 Bose Speakers. And I'm so happy to get rid of that BOSE "subwoofer". It seriously sounds so horrible. |
