Which films do you think that have been commited to Blu-Ray have been the most harshly judged yet you have found there PQ is not as bad as some reviews or other sources might lead you to think

(This is only regarding PQ not Audio)

Children of Men Blu ray is gorgeous and although the soundtrack is not lossless it sounds fantastic to me. It normally get's marked down for having zero extras.

Me too absolutely gorgeous.

I'll probably double dip on the inevitable universal release mind.

Halloween although it's probably rated the way it is because of the change in the blu-tint. It's still one of the first titles that made me go "wow, that looks great" since I didn't expect it to look very good.

Short Circuit is probably another one.

Yeah u could almost see the bacteria on clive owens face lol

Im not much of an extras man me so i won't do the double i also recomend The Jackal which you can get from here http://xploitedcinema.com/catalog/ja...y-p-13591.html

I say it's another 5 star for PQ the english audio track is only in DTS-HD where as the german has the master and mybe the film's not the best but ive seen far worse and watching jack black geting his arm blown off in full 1080p is rather pleasing to watch

Robocop i never seen anything wrong with it at all. It's a great transfer from a bad source

Why ppl can't distinguish between the two i never know

Short Circuit and Unbreakable are underrated. Unbreakable looked awesome because it reflected the look of the source naterial and Short Circuit was great for a movie with a cheap price tag.

Even at the risk of being rude, but in essence you're asking
"Which film did you like and the others did not?"
aren't you?
And if so, what are you trying to accomplish by that, Rusty?

What sense does a question make like
"why did you enjoy your cheeseburger while the others did not?"

I would say Dracula but the insiders might beat me up for bringing up this BD release again.

You can apply the same argument to almost any thread on here the odds of having absolute conscensus of opinion on anything are very small indeed. Did you expect everyone's post to be the same

Altough I didn't really care for the movie, but you've got to figure in the fact that it was made in 1968, 2001: A Space Odyssey. And then not just for an mpeg2 transfer but for any BD, Kingdom of Heaven looks great.
