I was looking into speakers last night and I was thinking about getting the Klipsch Quintet II's but just overnight the price on amazon went from 250 to 450 dollars!!!! I can still get them at Vanns for 250, I'm worried they'll go out of stock everywhere, but I wasn't quite ready to buy, now I feel pressured. My only other option was to use the 2 old bookshelf sony stereo speakers I have (you know about 12 inches by 6 inches, I think they have a woofer and either a treble or midrange on them, as in one big hole and one smaller one) and add a center and rears on later. Now I don't know what to do because if I don't act fast I think the Klipsch is going to be out of stock everywhere to increase sales on their quintet III's.

HELP!

yea i know but why did the price just shoot up 200 dollars on the IIs from last night?

happens alot on amazon, prices change alot, up 100's, down 100's...30 day price match, so if u do buy, and it goes down, you'll get the diff back

do you think they'll still be around in like 2 months? for 250... not 450..

well actually, amazon isn't even selling them anymore, i guess they're lowest price from affiliated merchants or whatever is now listed as 450, but last night it was 250, i don't really get it, but i think it's all a ploy to piss me off

i've seen prices go up and down for weeks, then flat line for months ( usually at the higher mark)

Bought my set from acoustic sound design on amazon for 299 w/ free shipping. It took a week to arrive but I had no issues with them. This is their regular price I believe.
