Pre-modified Panasonic DMP-BD30 Blu-Ray with HD-SDI

Listed for about $900.00 over the cost of a new unit. What does the HD-SDI do that makes it worth that much more?

That was the conclusion that I came to without any knowledge of what HD-SDI was.
