Default Panasonic DMP-BD30

Well the other day I bought the Sony S300, and it work fine the load up times were horrible. So I went online and read up a little and after seeing the panny for just as much I returned my Sony and got the panny. Now I'm Running the player to my Optoma Hd70 Projector, which is a native 720p. On the Sony it had an Option to pull directly form the disc and it was 1080p/24P( scaled down I'm sure) I see the option on my panny to do the 24P but it will not let me select it, is this because my Projector is 720P native? if so why would the Sony let me do it.

I have the Panasonic AX-100 720p projector and have no problem setting the BD30 to 24fps. I don't know what could be causing your problem.

I just got a BD30 also and I have this problem as well. PS3 worked fine with 1080p/24, but the BD30 won't let me select it. I haven't had time to figure it out yet, but if anyone has any info it'd me much appreciated. And yes, my TV supports 1080p/24.

I read taht sony allows it, but if my Projector can take it and the Panny is suposed to send it, it should work
