A little advice needed on my setup...

Hi everyone, this is my first post and I want to first say that I think this is a great forum, I have been an avid BLU fan for quite some time and have been viewing these forums religiously, I guess it's about time I start to participate in them.

I had a question regarding my HT audio setup. I currently have a lower end Harmon Kardon receiver with 5.1 polk speakers (older model speakers, appx. 7yrs. old) and a Velodyne 10" sub. Obviously this setup could use some upgrading and I am ready to do so.

I have been considering the following:
RECEIVER: Onkyo SR705
FRONT L/R: Polk VM30's or Polk RTIA9's
CENTER: Polk CS2

Any feedback or suggestions on this? Also, I have a dilemma. I am currently in an apartment and with my setup, there is no easy way for me to wire surround sound speakers behind me, do I have any options? I know Wireless speaker technology a while back was considered near worthless, is this still the same today? Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated.
