Default Warner titles - is this the trick to getting them early?

I've seemed to figure out how to get Warner titles early. I just received Dark City today.

The trick I've found is to order your desired title from the Warner website about two weeks before the official release date along with one or more current releases. In this time frame, Warner will package everything together to reduce their shipping costs and deliver the entire order (including your new release) in about a week. It seems like two weeks is the magic number: I got greedy and tried three weeks once, but it didn't work - they ended up splitting the order.

Any similar experiences?
