Never heard of the movie or anything, but I like the looks of the album. Few good bands I know of and can appreciate. I'll definitely order a copy.

Seems like I'm always stumbling across new films through good soundtracks...

Buy the movie, while you're at it.

Me too, I'm hearing bits that weren't even on the original release, speaking of which, the surprise takes you of of it when you're used to how the original CD sounds. The bass is noticeable now and its very thick!

It's really a great album, almost a grunge-era primer if you will. That being said, the purchase price is MORE than worth it for the few (at the time) unreleased gems that are on it including (but certainly not limited) to Smashing Pumpkins' "Drown," Pearl Jam's "State of Love and Trust" and "Breath," Mother Love Bone‘s "Chloe Dancer/Crown of Thorns," Screaming Trees' "Nearly Lost You" and Chris Cornell’s "Seasons."

Wow, that's surprising given what an unmitigated mess the "Superunknown" remaster turned out to be.

I haven't heard the remaster for Superunknown, but for Ultramega OK, the band took the tapes to Jack Endino. Which may explain said surprise.

You're forgetting Soundgarden's "Birth Ritual".

Neither have I cuz I wouldn't spend the money after the word got out just how bad it was.
