I don't know if it's a new release or old stock but it is being sold at Tower for $19.90. It says "On Sale - Ships in 12 Hours" It's rather strange when considering Amazon doesn't even allow pre-orders.

Well, if thats the case then the op should edit his post to not say that amazon "doesn't take pre-orders"

EDIT = WTF??!?? I just checked amazon and they've taken down the pre-order for top gun. I wonder why? I apologize OP.

The Tower site also lists the release date as October 2, 2007, which we all know is incorrect. (Might have been correct for HD-DVD.

) I don't think I'd be expecting it to actually ship in 12 hours.

Do you honestly believe that of all places Tower records would have some secret stash of movies that nobody else in the world has?

The screener arrived today and the disc is spinning as we speak, so the movie should be available as scheduled. I'll have the review up later tonight.

Perhaps they already filled their pre-order amount. Maybe I should cancel mine to give someone else a chance,

- since most likely I will pick this up from a brick and mortar store first day since I have plenty of RZ coupons...

I can confirm that people have review copies of Top Gun in hand. The disc absolutely exists and should be shipping on time

Apparently everyone at blu-ray.com clicked the link and now tower.com is cussing about not upgrading their capacity.

"No suitable nodes are available to serve your request."

I forget how many times I've dipped on this one but once more won't hurt.

Just checking their site, looks like they have Stargate Continuum now as well.

...and Doomsday (and a few others). I just added 4 titles from there so hopefully it works like it did with Top Gun (which just arrived).
