Default I can't burn the firmware to a disc. HELP!

After I download and extract the file the burning process stops halfway with an error.


Any help?

What program are you using to burn it .. and what kind of file format is the upgrade in ?

Not too familiar with that one, but did you make sure you are using standard ISO Data CD ?
Maybe the cd you had was junk, still happens!

As an alternative you can put on a USB flash drive if you have and load it from there (if you are talking PS3 upgrade).

Let me know how this goes.

That depends on what kind of player you are trying to update. If its a PS3 then that's fine and dandy, but if it's a Sony, you must use a blank DVD-R to burn the ISO image. I use Nero and have never had a problem updating.
