Advice wanted...I currently have the above mentioned receiver. Not too beefy, puts out 85 W RMS. I have a 5.1 setup that is fine but want to upgrade my "Zone B" speakers which are dedicated Stereo listening only. I'm looking at the above mentioned Polks which list power handling as 50-500 Watts. I realize that a more powerful receiver is optimal for driving these but until I upgrade, will my receiver be sufficient to drive them and not damage them in anyway. Clipping is the term I have heard when the receiver does not have enough power for the speakers. Thanx for any input.
