Default Speaker Impedance...
I've been shopping around for Speakers and have noticed something interesting. All the speakers that sound good to my ears are rated at 6 ohms or below. My Sony STR-DG910 will only handle 8 to 16 ohms. Now my choices are: (A) Get a crappy set of speakers that are 8 ohms or above or (B) Replace my receiver (the unwelcome alternative). Suggestions anyone?
