Default Will the movie Gladiator be released 30 years from now?

Hi....

I actually have been lurking in this forum for yearz so i'm no n00bie....

..... and I know this subject has been talked about for the 413th times (I counted it, not by topic, but by discussions).

And as ya know this movie has not been released or announced (USA specifically).... I think this is getting ridiculous....... Enough is enough.

There has got to be some serious reason why the movie studio isn't trying to release this movie..... What is the reason exactly? I personally think they are crazy....... complete retards....

patience....itll come out when it comes out.....UNiversal isnt retarded, they have a release schedule just like everyone else, takes time and money, Im sure they have it planned at some point just like every other movie in their catalog

I think most studios are holding back on some of their movies because they want to take there time with the transfer and deliver a top notch BD, disney is a great example, they are taking there time to trasfer the classics and so far they are delivering top of the line BD. Remember the format war ended less than a year ago, give it sometime before all the studios start releasing their big blockbuster movies! especially the HD DVD studios

And yet you create a new thread when, since you are no n00b, could have just posted in one of the existing threads.

Patience is the name of the game...I have also talked about Amadeus on here for two years now, and finally last week, it will be released next year. I think the same with Gladiator since this is a movie we're all waiting for too

Unless I'm mistaken, the video distribution rights are in Paramounts hands.

Regardless, I would guess we'll see it within a year or two. It's an anticipated title and they know it, which is part of why we have to wait. It's not just a filler title that they can release any time, it's a big title that people will want... so they'll inevitably want to get the most out of it they can and probably plan it with another similar style title or Ridley Scott title.

I guess that makes sense... i've been just tired of waiting.

Someone mentioned that this movie is the best movie of all time, well, yea. It beats Braveheart (in my personal opinion) though that movies was superb...

And this movie rapes Troy....

Gladiator 4.5/5, Troy 3.5/5 but for epic battles on Blu... Troy owns.

Braveheart is 5/5 and is better than both.
