Default a little audio help please...

Can someone tell me if this will run HDMI audio so I can get uncompressed audio from my PS3. Thanks in advance

What are we looking at? And i think you mean HD audio.. The PS3 can do it, all depends on what kind of receiver you have..

Yes, it will run HDMI audio as LPCM (which happens to be the format the PS3 puts our). Next......

Only if its encoded to 7.1 - all DTS-HD-MSTR AND TrueHD tracks are not 7.1 - most are 5.1 and the Sony doesn't matrix the HD codecs after the fact. So you will get 5.1 on 5.1 material and 7.1 on 7.1 material.

Just because it's cheap, doesn't mean it's bad (sometimes.) Look at the 605 in my sig. It sells for about $230.
