Are there any adult BDs with reference quality picture and sound? - Blu-ray Forum

All I know is that at least some of them have a less than 1080p source --- it may be encoded as 1080p on the BD but was taken with a video camera that had a lower resolution. Are there or will there be any that have a true 1080p source? Any recommendations?

I'm thinking I'll buy myself one for Christmas

i would have to echo the sentiment for grunts. from what the other thread said whoever is behind grunts is totally shooting exclusively with a hd camera as well as the regular cameras they use.

I might have Blu-ray movies but I can't afford those movies. So tight on money I haven't bought a BR movie in 2 months. So no.

I agree with you there! The adult Blu-ray movies have a pretty hefty price tag on them right now - which I guess makes sense. 1) It IS the adult "entertainment" industry and 2) low production runs

I much rather put my limited entertainment funds to an actual Blu-ray movie.

it's not a right now sort of thing. adult films have always had a hefty price tag. at least the top quality ones. it's always been about $75 to buy an top quality adult film. and the price isn't about to go down. it really can't either. they've got to recoup the money spent some way.
