Default Odd Titled Movies

This thread is dedicated to all of those movies out there that were given odd titles that you'll never forget. I think my top 3 are:

1. They Shoot Horses Don't They? (Jane Fonda)
2. Dr. Strangelove or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb. (Kubrick Classic)
3. Quackser Fortune Has a Cousin in The Bronx. (old Gene Wilder Movie)

I know there are countless others.

I leave you with one more:

Dead Dudes in the House. (So-so horror movie I saw only cause of the title)

Cheers!

The one that always springs to mind is "The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds", and it's a good movie to boot.

Yes, that IS a good movie. I saw it way long ago though. My mom is a huge Paul Newman/Joanne Woodward fan...

Those movies sound hysterical (looks like there were 3). Sounds like something Woody Allen did for What's Up Tiger Lily? (Yet another odd title). I feel the need to go track those down.

As for what you win...you're already the Blu Ray King. What else do you need?

"Phffft!"
(Jack Lemmon & Kim Novak) Can you imagine trying to ask for a ticket for this movie? "One please for PHFFFT!!"

"SSSSSSS!"
(Well the plot is either about a snake or people with lisps. You guess.)

"Incredibly Strange Creatures Who Stopped Living and Became Mixed-up Zombies"
(sounds like politics to me)

"Avenging Disco Godfather"

"Attack of the Killer Refridgerator"
(Starring richard simmons maybe?)

"The Astounding She-monster"

"Assault of the Killer Bimbos"

"Auntie Lee's Meat Pies"
(anyone wanna take a stab (no pun intended) at what the secret ingredient is?)

"Barn of the Naked Dead"

"Killer Klowns from Outer Space"

"Cannibal Women in the Avacado Jungle of Death"
(dip anyone?)

"Cars that Eat People"

"Children Shouldn't Play with Dead Things"

"Chopper Chicks in Zombie Town"

"It's Dead - let's touch it!"
(I'd like to see this movie and the one above it appear together on a theater marquee)

"Chopping Mall"

"Gas-s-s-s"
(not about that kind of gas..which actually might have made for a more interesting plot)

"I Dismember Mama"

"I eat your Skin"

"Geek Maggot Bingo"
(I don't even wanna know what the winner gets)

"I was a Zombie for the F.B.I."

"Lobster Man from Mars"

"The Rats are coming! There Werewolves are here!"

"Sorority Babes in the Slimeball Bowl-a-rama"

"Eegah!"

"Rabid Grannies"

"Earth Dies Screaming"

"Attack of the Flesh Devouring Space Worms from Outer Space"

"The Incredible Two-Headed Transplant"

"The Brain that Wouldn't Die"

"The Weasil that dripped blood"

"Surf Nazi's Must Die"

"I spit on your grave"

"Thou Shalt not kill...except"

And finally....(drum roll).....
"Oh Dad, Poor Dad (Momma's Hung you in the closet and I'm feeling so sad)"

One of the best "weird titled" movies of all time:

The Shawshank Redemption

It was a strange title the first time I heard it, but it lost its strangeness after I saw it.

SSSSSS....is some wacky movie where a scientist turns his lab assistants into King Cobras for some odd reason. Battlestar Galactica fans (of the old show) can find Dirk Benedict in this. It also has Strother Martin.

Chopping Mall is a hoot. Killer Robots that patrol the mall get zapped by lightning and go on a rampage in the mall. Mostly b-list actors, with Kelly Maroney from Fast Times at Ridgemont High starring. It was supposed to be called Killbots, but I think Chopping Mall is better.

As for The Incredible Two Headed transplant, I'm ashamed to admit I actually paid money to see this at this theatre near where I lived. Very bad Ray Milland movie where he's a bigot on his last days and needs to have his head transplanted on a new body. Enter Rosie Greer as the new body. Ah, the 70's...

It is nonetheless an odd title

I think many here have missed the point of this thread as some proposed titles are not as odd as the movies themselves
