Default Does Universal Plan To Release Blu-Ray Anytime soon?!

I haven't done "much" research on why Universal has no Blu-ray releases; So my Point is, When can my wife and I see some in the store? I dig "The Mummy" and "Jurassic Park" Still not worth buying a HD DVD to see them!

Hard to tell.

Universal had made no official announcements on whether they're gonna release movies on BD or not. But in the end, when BD wins the format war... They're gonna have to, or simply lose a lot of potential constumers. And it's that case already.

You won't see stuff like Jurassic Park/Jaws anyway so I really wouldn't recommend buying a HD DVD player if that is what you are expecting, you might see the odd good one here and there, but honestly you ain't missing much.

It's just a matter of time until Universal releases on blu-ray! Capacity is the key! Studios know it that's why they support it! Blu-ray is made just that! More is always better in any sense of the word!

UNIVERSAL IS TOTALLY WRONG ABOUT THIS STATEMENT IN 2006: "HD DVD has maintained its first-to-market advantage and delivered on the promises of providing the best high definition image and sound quality at the best value for consumers today."

BD offers studios a number of options other than increased disc capacity that HD DVD doesn't. It's not just more capable for long term growth potential and meeting the demands of the future, it's also more versatile, both now and tomorrow, especially once java matures.

Couldn't be more wrong if they tried.
