Help me please

Hey all. Where can I go to look up the success/sales $#'s of a DVD?

I know studios are more apt to release a film on BD if the DVD sold well. So there are a few films that I would like to check on in order to get a vague idea of when we might see a BD release.

Well you could start by checking the Home Media magazine linked in this thread we use to keep track of BD sales

As far as DVD sales go there hasn't been much record of them. Some numbers can be found for 2000 on. Here's a good site: The Numbers This is the site I use. International Box Office is another number that hadn't been tracked until the last few years (at least available to the public). Check out the movie by title and if it's available, the site should have budget, domestic and international take along with dvd sales and TV rights.

I checked out "The Numbers" and it doesnt list DVD sales for "Team America: World Police". Kind of odd...it does list $ for TV rights. Dang. Well thanks again anyway.....I will be using that site in the future.
