Hello,

I rented this movie and enjoyed it quite a bit. It has 5.1 uncompressed PCM audio as you all probably know. I noticed that there was not a great deal of use of the rear channels, or at least that was my perception. I am thinking there is spossibly something wrong with my audio set-up , but wanted to get other people's opinions on the film's audio and the use of the rear channels.

Any thoughts?

i am only using Logitech Z-5500 and the rear channels are rather active...

I haven't watched it since it came out on BD, but I didn't notice anything particularly bad about the sound at all. Just because it uses the rear channels, that makes it bad? Or is there something else you're hearing that makes you think that?

A little more explanation of what you're hearing, what your setup is and how you have it connected would probably help a lot.

I just saw that movie on BD a couple days ago, and using my Z-5500 sound system I noticed a lot of rear channel usage. Not anything super flashy, but I did notice it. In the battle, listen as the gryphons fly onto the screen. As they flew past, I could clearly hear the audio transfer from the rear channels to the front ones.

My 4 year old cousin wanted to watch it and so we did, it was a decent Blu-Ray Disc for a bad movie.
