If it has to be from that list, Yamaha VR-663. Polk speakers and the klipsch sub-10.

I would say the Yamaha rx-v663bl reciever as it has the 192/24 burr brown d/a converters, as does the Pioneer. For speakers I'd say the Klipsh Quintet III's and the Sub-10. The only thing is the Yamaha reciever has only two HDMI inputs, so unless you have more than say a BR player and a cable/satellite box, this should be fine.

I've noticed people including you are trying to get people to get those. Are those subs that good?

For the price, yes. For more you can get an AV123 MFW-15, which is even better.

Please strike the Bose speakers from your list. You deserve better than that

Receiver:

Onkyo 605/606/705 (Yamaha V663, if I had to choose from your list)

Speakers:

#1 Klipsch Quintet III
#2 Polk RM85

Oh, and please don't even consider anything Bose! Trust us on this one.

Sub:

Personally, I like this one. I have one, and it rocks! You can typically find it on eBay (new) for $250 shipped. The one from Driver_King is also good.

I like Sony, but if you are looking at buying those I would say to switch the 820 for the 920 and at ugotadeal.com you can get it for $399. Then I would say go either the Sony 920 or an Onkyo 606.

Speakers, I don't like Klipsch, but they are a favorite around these parts, so I would say Polk. your choice.

Sub... go with Driver King's suggestion.

You can also consider the following set of speakers:

JBL CS6100BG. It's a 5.1 system that I personally have. I honestly think they're some of the best "bang for your buck" speaker systems you could get. I expanded it to a 7.1 system by adding 2 Polk RM 101 satellites. I absolutely love these speakers and they look and sound great! I have them paired with an Onkyo 606.

Here's a link to them:

http://www.amazon.com/JBL-CS6100BG-C...2457543&sr=8-1

Amazon currently doesn't have them in stock, but you could also try eBay. That's where I bought them! I bought them from a seller called "E-warehouse". A great seller!
