Default full rgb a love story

just thought i'd let you all know i've been playing around with this setting ever since i got my ps3. and like everyone else it looked awful.but that was my old sony kdf 50e2010\2000 .after discovering i carnt get replacement bulbs in the uk (from well known stores inc sony uk )i got my self a wonderful sony kdl40v3000 .which is better in every way than old tv and i can tell the diffrence between 720p&1080p. anyways with past experience i didn't bother trying full rgb until i was bored one day and found out i could adjust the brightness to remove the crushed blacks.(unlike kdfe2010) and know im in love better contrast better colour, trust me its awesome you have to see it to beleave it even dvd look great

kdl40v3000 settings
picture mode cinema
backlight 5
contrast 85
brightness 65
colour 45
colour temp warm 2
sharpness 10
both noise reduction off
clear white high
colour space wide
all other advance settings off

This thread prompted me to do finally do some research on RGB Full/Limited. Looks like I've been running on full, incorrectly, for awhile. Here's some good reading if anybody cares.

I agree full RGB is alot better for me as well. I had to put the brightness up to where about you did in the low 60 range and tweek a few more tv settings but overall blu's look incredible using full RGB.
