BURBANK, Calif.--Buena Vista Worldwide Home Entertainment (BVWHE) today announced their slate of Blu-ray Disc® releases for April 2007, all of which are presented on the newest high definition 50 GB disc. Titles will include King Arthur and G.I. Jane, which will be in stores on April 3, and Déjà vu and The Queen, available on April 24. Most Blu-ray™ titles from BVWHE will be available for $34.99 SRP.
The action-packed King Arthur (Clive Owen, Keira Knightley) on Blu-ray Disc will feature original DVD bonus materials including audio commentary by director Antoine Fuqua, the featurette “Blood on the Land: Forging King Arthur,” a cast & filmmaker roundtable, alternate ending, and Blu-ray exclusive Movie Showcase. G.I. Jane (Demi Moore, Viggo Mortensen) on Blu-ray Disc includes the exclusive Movie Showcase.
Tony Scott’s action-thriller Déjà vu (Denzel Washington, Val Kilmer) on Blu-ray Disc will include DVD bonus features including the “Surveillance Window” featurette which gives an in-depth look at how and where the film was made, numerous deleted and extended scenes, and the Blu-ray exclusive Movie Showcase. Déjà vu was written by Bill Marsilii and Terry Rossio, and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.
The Academy Award® winner The Queen (Helen Mirren -- Best Actress, 2006) on Blu-ray Disc will include DVD bonus features including a making-of featurette, feature commentary with director Stephen Frears and writer Peter Morgan, feature commentary with British Historian and Royal expert Robert Lacey, and the Blu-ray exclusive Movie Showcase.
