What direction do you think Kingdom Hearts 3 should or will go? - Blu-ray Forum

I personally think its time for Square-Enix to leave Disney behind and move on to something new and "grown-up"!

I would love to see this "Keyblade War" story line evolve, but thats just me

I look forward to hearing all your opinions!

I can't wait to see what Square-Enix comes up with at TGS 2008

I dunno....but I wanna know what the note in the bottle said at the end of the second one. Anyone think Haley Joel Osment will be back as Sora? He's gotta be like 20 now.

I don't play this series but isnt Disney part of the "point" of KH? Seems wrong to me to even consider moving in a different direction.

exactly....it's a way for grown-ups and kids to enjoy Disney in a different genre

Mickey isn't going anywhere, therefore Disney isn't going anywhere. There are tons of games that are "grown up," why change this one which has already proven to be very successful?

I kind of felt that Mickey was a bit darker than the typical Disney character to begin with. He had that cutesy voice still, but behind it there seemed to be a more "grown up" attitude displayed by him. I think it will be VERY interesting to see where they were going with the whole key blade war trailer. Can't really get rid of Sora, so maybe some type of time warp? It could be in an altogether different land still, too. Of course, I'm not too thrilled that in the first game they suggested only one person could wield a keyblade, and now like 4 or 5 can, and then with that trailer, it gets upped to millions. It could just be that this was a graveyard world, too, where the spirits/souls of keyblade carriers went to rest (or possibly fight in an eternal war.)

When I heard of FF vs XIII for the first time, I thought it was going to be a Kingdom Hearts without Disney. FF...vs organization XIII. It made sense to me!

I think disney needs to stay. Sure it's kiddie (kind of) but it was there from the beginning... Maybe a spin-off without them, but not a REAL game without them... IMO.

disney makes the series. I love playin this game with my girlfriends son. Without disney, both of us will lose interest. It would ruin it.

There would be no Kingdom Hearts without Disney. There are plenty of other IPs out there that are more mature without having to completely rip apart and hange the fundamentals of a series.
