Hi--ive just finished wathching " The Invasion" starring Nicole Kidman on Blu Ray--very good film--excellent picture quality and sound quality--i give it 9 out of 10.

I heard so many negative reviews about it I didn't even bother to pick it up. Can't just buy for PQ/SQ, either...

This is the type of film I enjoy. I am a big sci fi fan. I am going to visit my local Wal-Mart because they are known for releasing titles early. Hopefully, I will get lucky!

i thought the trailer looked somewhat interesting. I might give it a Blu rent because I dont feel like dropping 30 bucks on something im not to positive about.

I just saw it for $40 at Circuit City. It would have to be an unqualified classic for me to pay that kind of money.

I've been a sci-fi fan ever since I read "The Spaceship Under The Apple Tree" when I was seven years old, and I read far too much Heinlein in my youth. But sci-fi films don't seem to aspire to such heights...

I always find it a pity when someone does not give a detailed reason why they dislike a movie. I would sure help people who have not seen it....although I do tend to take peoples opinions with a pinch of salt.

The story has some very interesting twists on the familiar INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS story, but the movie is boring and, like the pop people, devoid of any emotion or tension. Everyone simply takes the invasion in stride. That aside, the Blu-ray does look and sound good.

I will get The Invasion.Loved Invasion of The Body Snachers with Donald Sutherland and the one that took place on the army base Body Snachers.
Missed out seeing The Invasion in movie theaters so looking forward to watching it.
