Default vizio vo47l or sharp aquos lc-46d64u

Hey guys I need a bit of guidance and assistance. I been trying to surf the web trying to find a nice tv for the living room and I need help deciding one of the 2 aforementioned. I couldn't really find too many reviews and was wondering if anyone on the board can help... If anyone can recommend something within this price range that'd be great too.. thanks guys!

You can't use "nice TV" and "Vizio" in the same sentance.

Total junk.

Edit: I won't give one dime of my money to crappy Chineese companies such as Vizio.

I would stay away from Vizio, I own 2 and although I like them for secondary tv's, they aren't as nice as the name brands, I bought both of my vizio's and then 6 months later bought my samsung, cause I wasn't satisfied PQ wise.

Try this on Amazon Samsung LN46A550 46-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV it is $1280. Very good TV, and in this area of the market Samsung is king of LCD's for the most part, as some would argue.

yea i was just looking and came across the samsung.. the only reason im asking is because i actually own the vizio and my dad asked me to see if there was anything better in the price range and he came across the aquos which i believe is around 1200 on costco and now i just seen the samsung.. which shouldn't be quite as crappy as one of those "chinese" brands lol.. but yea... other than that.. any other suggestions guys? so far im leaning towards that samsung which is always reliable

Sony Bravia S-Series KDL-46S4100 46-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV $1324

I caution you on this set due to the fact that Sony doesn't give you the Deep Color and xvYCC basically the HDMI 1.3a on their lower series TV's. I have found that turning the xvYCC option on my Samsung on actually makes the colors closer to what you see with a plasma, much more life like and natural. I would say that it is a moderately important if you have a new BD player and receiver that already support 1.3. That being said, if that isn't anything you care about, then Sony always makes a nice TV.
