Night of the Living Dead Blu-ray

Not seen this anywhere yet on here, and I received my copy of Night Of The Living Dead Optimum UK release. Well just tried it on my Region A PS3 and it does not work. This is a Region B release only. Kinda sad actually since I have both Dawn and Day on Blu-Ray and this with land would have completed my collection.

I believe the recent UK releases of Army Of Darkness and Evil Dead II are also Region B.

I did check here, but there was nothing listed. Also with it being a new release, did not think there would be much information about the region anyway. What gets me about this is, it's not as if the movie is a major release, that needed to be Region locked. Most DVD versions of it are region free. Oh well, will leave it to one side until I buy a stand alone unit.

With Imports, it's always best to ask around first. It was pretty common knowledge that this was region locked.
http://dvdtimes.co.uk is a good source for UK releases, you can generally find out from their site or their members what's region locked and what isn't.

Also, NOTLD should be released here in the states on Blu-ray by the Weinstein Company in the very near future. So if you can sell the copy you got now, you might be better off waiting for that. Last word was that this would be out either Q4 of this year, or early 2009 at the latest.
