I use Best Buy for all my Blu Ray purchases. They price match everything for me. I use my Reward Zone card for every purchase too. I had a $50 certificate waiting in my account last night. I was going to use it to purchase The Incredible Hulk and Indy 4. Today when I logged in, my cert was gone. I called the Reward Silver number and they told me that my account had been accessed and the cert was used to buy PS3 games at a store in California. I live in Michigan. They told me that accounts are occasionally hacked and certs are stolen. Luckily, they are going to give me a replacement certificate. I am still quite bent that this could even happen. It sucks that it will take them 7-14 days to process this problem and replace my cert.

u should've asked for some kind of compensation. when i bought my hdtv and bluray player, it took 32 days to process the points, the lady offered me $15 free for my "inconvenience." i only called to find out how long it took to process the points.

There's no such thing as $50 Certificates. They come in denominations of $5, $10, and $20.

I obviously monitor my online accounts. I caught this within hours of it happening. Why do you have to be an idiot? I posted in this area because I am trying to be a nice guy and warn people.

If you're a silver member, you can also get $50, $100, $250, and $500 certificates.

I am a Silver Member of the Reward Zone. If you spend a certain amount in a specific time frame you get upgraded. Once you are a silver member, you can get larger certificates.

Hmm, didn't even realize I had an account.

I just signed up for it a couple of months ago since I got tired of them badgering me about it but figured it was just the card that I use in the store and getting mail from them. Guess I need to check that out.

I'm not a silver member, but I just got a $75 certificate. I wish it had been in smaller denominations because I had to use the entire $75 at once.

my two cents....

we all consider our BB certs to be "gimme" on deals... we price match or wait for great deals and feel even better when we get to take an additional 5 bucks off....

i for one barely read certain topics on here cuz they dont have much to do with me or my interests... but i do appreciate when someone posts in the "hot deals" forum....that someone my be robbing us of our perks and rewards for the "hot deals" we spend our money on

a hot deal could just as well be an alert to a major rip off

thnks and ill be watching my account, though i seldom shop there unless theres a good price match hussle

Hahaha they definitely do that. They offer you "inconvenience" money so easily. I called to ask how long it took for the free $30 certificate you get with your BB credit card to be added and they added an extra $30 for inconvenience. That's how I got Soul Calibur IV free

You people who are so frustrated over this thread being in the hot deals section wasted more of your time replying to it crying about how it shouldn't be here, then it took you the time to read it.
