i'd say of all the seasons, 4 is the most boring, imo. i got sick of the whole michelle, burt, and james thing.

season 5 was pretty good. more comedy, which i love.

can't wait to see how they pick up from the last episode!

So I guess I should give up hope for a Blu-ray release of season 5 then? Otherwise we would have heard something by now.

This and Rescue Me, Season 4....unbelievable

I didn't watch season 5 because we don't get FX-HD and was going to wait for the BD. This sucks!

*sigh*

It's happening again. Sony was unwilling to give us the fourth season of "Rescue Me" on Blu-ray, and now "Nip/Tuck - Season 5" has been officially announced, but again, DVD only.

This sucks. Majorly.

I'm not gonna buy it. What's the point in enjoying one season in glorious High Definition when I have to switch back to DVD for the following one? I am profoundly unhappy with this decision of Warner Home Video.

I told them, and I ask you to do the same. Don't have anything to lose, have we?

Wasn't there 8 episodes left of season 5 that have yet to be aired/finished because of the writer's strike? I thought that's why they recalled the last announcement so they wait for the rest of the season to be aired.

AFAIK the rest of the episodes were turned into Season 6, slated to air this January.

I just noticed that this thread is in the Wish List subforum...I don't think too many people will find it here, but I couldn't find a "Nip/Tuck - Season 5" thread in the main forum.

It's bad enough that Nip/Tuck is on TV on a non-HD channel (FX), season 5 needs to come to blu-ray. Why haven't all the seasons come out on blu yet. This is one of the best shows on TV nowadays imo. Nip/Tuck Season 4 was spectacular on blu. The new season's coming up and everything.
