It's from a Canadian TV show called "Red Green". Been around a long time up here.

Canadian TV...wow. I've tried watch a couple of Canadian TV shows but I wanted to pull my hair out after a few minutes. It seems like Canada subscribes to the same sort of dry 'humor' (and I use that word loosely) that England does.

I think there was one that was called "Kids in the Hall" or something like that...and that show made me want to punch babies.

Dry humour? Like... Monty Python dry? Canadian comics are a cottage industry in the US... some of the biggest comedians in the last 30 years are Canadian. Dan Ackroyd, Jim Carrey, Mike Myers, Tommy Chong (of Cheech and Chong), Phil Hartman, Norm McDonald, John Candy, and Lorne Michaels (creator of Saturday Night Live), just to name a few.

oh yeah and Kiefer Sutherland is Canadian... which makes Jack Bauer defacto Canadian.

You've named some excellent comedians - and I happen to be a big fan of most of them.

Maybe they are the exception to the rule

Yeah Red Green was great. His black and white old-timey skits were hilarious.

We need to hook you up for our latest comedy series that being The Trailer Park Boys. We need to be funny up here to put up with being ripped off on electronic components
