Default Sequel Movies

Hello Everyone,

I was wondering if anyone knows if movies that have sequels will be released in packs? If instance National Treasure 1 & 2, Mummy, Batman and Dark Knight, etc. I wanted to find out before I pick up individual movies.

Thanks,
RM

National Treasure 2-pack is right here https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/movies.php?id=778

I don't recommend getting it though. It's just both movies bound in shrinkwrap, nothing new. It's cheaper to buy them individually.

The Mummy trilogy will be released on Blu-ray the same day as Mummy 3. It's early December I believe.

There are no plans that I know of to release Batman Begins and TDK together.

It is always a possibility but it is most often when a franchise has one or two good movies with several stinkers or the movies have all been released multiple times. Studios love tying in awful sequels to more popular originals to help nudge the consumer into spending more for complete sets.

I always hated sets. Unless most movies in the set were good or if the movies are done. Meaning no more sequels will be made. The only box sets I would buy are Star Wars 4-6 and The Matrix Trilogy.

The Harry Potter sets bug me like crazy. With every new film comes a new box set that holds only the number of films already released.

Also a bummer that I had to buy the Spider-Man box set to get the first 2 films. Now I have part 3 stinking up my collection...

actually if you take out the extra stuff you get with the Harry porter trunk case you could fit in two extra movies but now since they are doing the final film in two parts they kinda screwed it up.

I'm just going to assume that Warner will do what New Line did with LOTR. When the final Potter discs are sold, there will probably be a mail-in offer for some kind of slipcase or cardboard trunk thingie. That'd be nice.

It's obvious there will be sequels. I would imagine a trilogy set for the Mummy movies, although the third one was absolutely terrible.

No official announcement, but I'm hoping we'll be seeing a Bourne trilogy Blu box.
