Default Bandai Visual USA Talks Blu-ray
At a convention this past weekend, Bandai Visual USA indicated that they will release the (masterpiece!) film Wings of Honneamise on Blu-ray on 09/11/2007. It will also get an HD DVD release.

The film is set for both Blu-ray only in Japan this summer and previously only a US HD DVD release was talked about. Bandai Visual Japan has recently canceled their planned release for Freedom on HD DVD though the US release is still going forward (should have it soon myself). The convention chatter is that they did talk about Akira but it is not clear that it's for a US release. Akira is slated for a summer Blu-ray release in Japan.
