Wow! I cannot wait. Of all the anime titles to see in Blu, Yukikaze is a MUST OWN.

Seriously, I have them on DVD and the DTS soundtrack is just frikkin' amazing. The visuals are breathtaking and the cinematography of the dogfights are simply stunning.

In high-definition my head will probably asplode.

I've been looking for an excuse to use the symbol and I think it fits:

hmm, i wonder how the above licensed 7 disc series, if eventually translated to Blu, would turn out price wise. if 150 for 3 discs, would it be a ton more for 7?

i'm not familiar with Yukikaze, but may just check it out to support this whole thing. True Tears is currently a GREAT show I am enjoying on fansub, so I hope it develops into something bigger.

How many episodes is Yukikaze?

Someone got the Japanese copy. Said the PQ was on par with the R2 DVD version (albeit slightly cleaner) and the SQ was better then the standard DTS.

Just to make a notice for anyone who may not have known, this is an upconvert to 1080i.

I deeply apologize for bumping a ten year old thread and I know the US release of Yukikaze is just a 480 upscale but I was wondering if anyone has the Korea set and there thoughts on it. It's very cheap on kimchidvd right now so anyone wouldn't mind giving me some information about it I greatly appreciate it
