Default TV K-Dramas & J-Dramas in Blu? When? 50 years from now?

Hi.....

It appears the technology in this world is moving very slowly.....

I watch quite a few K-dramas and J-dramas and they have very good PQ in both HD and SD-DVD, but I don't see them released on Blu-ray.... I need progressive scan not the lame azz interlaced images.... Listen, 1080p is the best!

When will this happen? 50 years from now?

Will it happen in our life time?

Blu ray is still a baby.
Give it time.
You need to walk before you run.

Asian TV series are almost always shot with video cameras and not film, so the best they can be will be 1080i. Unless they are shot progressively at 24 fps, but I'm not aware of any series that has done this.
