Help me pick a game

help me pick a game from this list (i've already pre-ordered LBP and Resistance 2). I like all type of games

Dead Space
Battlefield: Bad Company
Brothers In Arms: Hells Highway
Call of Duty 5: WaW
Far Cry 2
MotorStorm: Pacific Rift

Motorstorm was a great starter game. Motorstorm 2 should be even better, supposedly.

I would get COD5:WaW as first option, then Far Cry 2.

I bought Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway and Battlefield:Bad Company. After playing them I would say both are rentals only.

I'm interested to see how Motorstorm 2 is going to be and not that excited about Dead Space - just not my type of game.

Question - Why is Resistance 2 not on your list? This is a must get for me.

i'm leaning towards CoD 5 (not to happy with another WWII setting) and Motorstorm 2.

Wow, you're already getting two of the best ps3 titles. I would either say grab Dead Space if you want a great horror survival/ cinematic experience or the new Call of Duty (enough said, kind of self explanatory awesomeness.) Considering the fact you'll have your hands full with LBP and Resistance 2 I would choose a game with a shorter playing time. I hear you'll get about 12-15 hours out of Dead Space, so maybe this would be the logical choice. (Plus to my knowledge, it received great ratings across the board) Regardless I think you have a good taste in PS3 games so you're set either way. Good luck!

I haven't played it yet, but i'm sure of dead space. It's the sleeper of 08 it would seem. Every thing i've seen and heard is what i'm expecting.

COD 5 is not by infinity ward , the conversation ends there. People playing the beta are already mentioning it's missing something from COD 4 and it's again in WW2. I'm skipping it for these various reasons.

Bad company , fun game but I didn't find the online that amazing and I hear the campaign is short.

Can't vouch for brothers in arms , don't know much about it but the reviews haven't been that great.

Far cry 2 , apparently looks like a good game, but the videos screenshots i've seen haven't been that good so maybe i'm not seeing the right things.. I'd say it depends on how much you were attached to the first one. I really enjoyed the first one but only about the first half so i'm not that dying to get this game.

Motorstorm. Can't really say anything bad about it, i'm going to buy it eventually but I can definitely wait on this , Wipeout is taking care of all my racing needs.

My vote is dead space. I'm getting it soon I hope

This week toys r us is having a buy2get1free sale so im getting at least DEAD SPACE, STAR WARS THE FORCE UNLEASED and that BUZZ QUIZ game. if you have the money the sale is on until saturday. quick question ... can some one tell me how i can post a new thread ,post or subject .im kinda computer illegitimate and i don't even have a computer yet ,i have internet hooked up 2 my ps3 so i have so many questions i don't know where to start. whoever helps me i thank you so much!!!

Rent Dead Space, unless you love thriller/horror games. I just envision it as a once through type of game.

Don't buy COD5 till you hear more about it. It has the potential to be great, but also could be a flop.

MotorStorm: PR is a safe bet. Should have solid single and multiplayer modes, so would be good for awhile.

Far Cry 2 could be the dark horse of this quarters games because not many people are talking about it due to the buzz around LBP, R2, and Bioshock. I'd also wait on this one to find out more about it.

Battlefield and BIA seem like two run-of-the-mill war type games. If you are really into those, then you should consider buying them. Otherwise I don't think you'd be missing out on not playing them.

Battlefield was a good game.... it just felt like the game that was made for the teen who wasn't allowed to get CoD4. BiA sucked though. And Since he's got R2 on Pre-order he might as well wait on FC2, go with Dead Space (Which does have good RP value) or Motorstorm 2.

Thats my take on it.. you might not like my opinion but its how I fell over it.

Dead Space: looks like something that is pretty but it will be over very quickly.

BattfleField: is a RENTAL at best its a great game but not one you want to own, the sp can be beat in a few hours, mp is cool but not past the rental period.

Brothers In Arms: Hells Highway: As much as I would like to buy this, I realize for others this is not a purchase unless you fanatical about Action/Strategy games.

COD5: Seeing how much they love over scripted events, COD has always felt like watching a movie with a little interaction, once you beat it there is generally no reason to put the disc back in.

Far Cry2: Possible the open world sounds interesting the only think that makes me worry is the note of having to look for medicine to keep yourself alive.. sounds like a repetitious game element to me.

Motorstorm2: If its anything like the demo there is no need to purchase or rent this ever...

Early reviews of Motorstorm say it's no more than Motorstorm 1.5.

Plus they say a lot of the tracks are frustrating...just relaying that.

I'm playing dead space now and it's awesome.

Battlefield is a lot of fun and has replay value.

Brother in Arms: Eh, it's just me but whenever I hear squad based my interest wanes.

Far Cry 2: Very interested in this one.

COD5: Eh, I have COD3 and COD4....really, how much different is this one going to be?

I'd get Far Cry 2, then Dead Space.

Battlefield has been out for long enough that if you wait another month or 2 it'll be half price used at Gamestop.
