Bought a new receiver, Onkyo 606 for the blu-ray and couldn't get a picture via HDMI. Worked fine directly plugged into the tv.
Finally noticed when plugged to the tv the resolution was 1080i. Went into settings on the player and changed from "Auto" to "1080i". Got the picture no problem. Why would I have to do this? Isn't that the idea of "Auto Video Formatting"? |
