Setting up Yamaha 663

I have done a search, but at this point it is all "greek" to me.....

Have a sony 52xbr4
Sony BD 550 (just bought today)
Yamaha 663 (just bought today)

Have the BD 550 connected to the yamaha with HDMI
Have the Yamaha connected to the Sony xbr4 with HDMI

The reciever when in tuner mode, sends sound to all 6 speakers (6.1)
When Bluray is playing, I get picture, and sound to all speakers

When viewing TV (over the air antenna, hd only...no cable hooked up), I get only picture and no sound.

Can not get the on screen display of yamaha status.......and settings.


Have spent hours reviewing manual.....obviously not doing something right.....

Can someone please help this person (me), who certainly doesnt know what he is doing.....
