Default Movies you used to like but don't anymore

For me one movie that I absolutely loved was the 2004 Dawn of the Dead remake. I seen it at the theater 2 times and watched it on dvd probably 3 times from beginning to end. The I bought the BD version a couple weeks back and watched it and I just don't care for it anymore.

Anyone else have movies that don't have same effect on them that they once did?

Certain comedies don't hold up well to me, cause there is always something that comes out that pushes the boundaries a lil further.

Terminator 2. But it's because I've seen it too many times.

Most of those kinds of movies start to go down hill after a while. Knocked Up, 40YOV, Superbad... They all get laughs from being edgy, and pushing what you expect to see in a theater... and really, outside of that, are not that funny.

I got Superbad on BD and cant watch more than 5 minutes of it without feeling like I am getting robbed by a dude in a clown suit.

For me, it used to be Top Gun. Saw it in the theaters and was blown away. Hell, I wanted to be a Navy pilot after that movie.

Then I got it on DVD and watched it a number of times. I tried watching it on some tv station (cannot remember for sure) recently and could not handle more than 5 or 10 minutes. Was Kelly McGillis really that hot? Even when the movie came out?

Here is another that will likely spark a riot on this site.......Return of the Jedi. At this point, the Ewoks are almost as bad as Jar Jar.
