Despite 40% jump in quarterly revenue, losses lead megapublisher to pink-slip more than 500 employees; Madden sells 4.5 million, Spore 2 million; Warhammer subscribers hit 800,000.

There stock took a big hit yesterday.

Hopefully, the 6% that got fired are the tards that keep putting out the mediocre crap that EA likes to put out and not some of the people who have the good ideas for games, because there are a few of those left over at EA

EA are vultures. They hire people to work on a project, work them into the ground, and then fire them once the project is over.

I know this because my friend works in the industry as a programmer.
