2 VHS before a DVD player. Still have em too, although my first DVD player died. It did tend to get more use.

Yeah I loved it! It was so much better than getting a regular VCR afterwards.
The big downside was that they were really expensive, and when ours broke it was cheaper to buy a VCR instead of having it fixed, so my dad switched it out. Too bad, because at the time I had quite a bunch of kids movies and some other classics such as Back to the Future # 1 !
