Man on Fire release date? - Blu-ray Forum

Sorry if someone's already posted a thread about this; I looked but found nothing. In the past on this site it said that Man on Fire would be out on May 8th, but that title is no longer in the "Coming Soon" section. Has this title been postponed? I looked at HighDef Digest's site, and they list it as announced w/ no date yet.

Yea, I saw that when I was looking, but that post was from 2006. I can't find it on any up-to-date lists now. Amazon doesn't have it on the "April & Beyond" page, either. I guess they pushed it back, hopefully to improve quality, as I think this movie will look absolutely outstanding in HD. I just hope they're not holding it back because of the reasons that The Matrix is being held back (I know they're different studios). I just want the movie!

dude, don't you know how sticky posts work? and editing? That post STARTED in 2006. I try to keep it as up to date as possible sometimes changing it several times a week.
About Man of Fire, those were the dates last "seen". Fox delayed several titles (even the Smiths last week) but delivered Eragon this week. As I say in the post, dates are extremely volatile. But usually 95% of the dates there are legit or have become legit. Yesterday there were several Sony titles announced for June 5. They had been on the list with that date for some weeks. Sometimes I see one of those announcements and I go running going: "I need to update the list!", and when I get there I go: "Oh, I already had them...".

Hopefully we'll get soon an update on Fox. ZonaDVD (Spain) just uploaded their cover of "From Hell". Maybe that's an Omen

Or maybe not.
