Best Buy Commercial question...... - Blu-ray Forum

I keep seeing this Best Buy commercial, and they say something about "With an HD MY cable it's even better" or something like that....

Not H-D-M-I, but H-D- "My" cable.... Does ANYONE call them H-D-'my' Cables????? Did I miss a memo and have been incorrectly spelling it out, or is Best Buy trying to be trendy???

What Gives??

P.S. Sorry for the "Crim" thread but this has been bugging me for weeks.

Haven't see this commercial, but could it be that they are saying H D M I so fast that it just sounds like HD MY?

LMAO! The "Crim" thread. Let's make it a "Dark Elf" thread and talk about the Dallas/Baltimore game.

But, I assume if you say HDMI fast enough it does come out a bit like HD My. Go figure, that's their advertising consultants who came up with that one.

Ive seen it but I think they do say HDMI. If not, then there research/marketing department need to be b#tch slapped.

I thought they said HDMI but really fast, and I was just "Thinking" they were saying HD MY, but I've made it a point to listen closely when that commercial comes on, and I swear they say H D "My"

i hate that commercial. When i see her start dancing after saying that i just think "wtf does that have to do with blu ray and this commercial?"

I started into a long rant with fellow family members who told me to shut up...
