Best Kung-Fu Blu

I like the bruce lee movies...crouching tiger...jackie chans older stuff...Like drunken master....One of my favorites is Blood Sport & Kick Boxer
The curse of the golden flower was alright..not too much action & i didnt understand the ending well. But the big fight at the end was cool.

Anyways...I have yet to check out any on blu-ray yet. Any suggestions...I'm looking for a good kung-fu flick..but one that looks really good.

I'm getting the kill bill box set...I dunno how it will look tho..
Any Kung-Fu movies that have pq like i robot...or i am legend?

I don't think u mean Kung-Fu, you probably mean martial arts movies but anyways u should check out 'House of Fury' which i think it's a good movie with good PQ.

I see it comes out sept 9th....I read on this site by a member at wal-mart and i think best buy or target they will have a box set no 100% confirmation on this....If not i'll buy individually...I watch the dvd box set all the time cant wait to add them to my blu-ray collection.

Kung-fu Hustle ofcourse. good pq\aq pcm sound and hey it has kung fu in the title.

Yeah i hear good things about this one. I always thought it was a comedy or something...Is it similar to jackie chans stuff....Serious but with some comedy in it here and there..Or how is this? the review on it looked pretty good.

Kung-Fu Hustle (though its the only Kung-Fu Blu-Ray that I've seen so far).

Its got great PQ/AQ to it.

Also I really really enjoy the soundtrack as well as the story to it. Sometimes I just put it on and fall asleep to the music. Then again I do the same for Across the Universe.

It's not like Jackie Chan. Kind of has a comic bookinsh feel to it. Like Shaolin Soccer if you seen that. Stehpen Chow is a awesome director Kung Fu Hustle is a +. Still waiting for the 2nd

I think the OP would know about this film but I agree with you. ETD is a classic.

Still have it on order from Amazon and can't wait to watch it.

Actually Best Buy is where i bought this movie and it's the only place that i've seen that has it.

In terms of pure kung fu, check out the double feature 'Killing Machine/Shogun's Ninja' Its available on blu-ray and you should be able to find it for around ten bucks. Some of the other titles people have mentioned aren't really "kung-fu" but more action films. Although, Enter the Dragon IS awesome. Also, you could check out 'House of Flying Daggers.'
Side note, if you can find a copy of 'Shogun's Assassin' on DVD I HIGHLY recommend it if you are a fan of the martial arts genre. Its insane! I know it used to be EXTREMELY rare but I think it has since become much easier to find. In fact, I could almost swear I saw it at Wal-Mart not too long ago.

sorry to all you Kung-Fu lovers but I'm not a big fan of Kung-Fu movies. I loved Kung-Fu the TV series with David Carradine and I love watching Jackie Chan. but my first Kung-Fu Blu-ray will have to be Fung-Fu Panda. I know its not what you would call a Kung-Fu movie.
